Do you have a new camera or lens that you can’t quite figure out how to use to its fullest potential? Perhaps you’ve been shooting for years but have hit a plateau? Each year award winning photojournalist Damaso Reyes takes on a handful of personal students and helps them develop the skills they need to take the best photographs they can. Currently he has space for three new students for his one on one virtual classes.
Courses are tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals. Through a combination of assignments and conversations students learn not just how to take better photographs but how to use photography as a medium of communication and artistic expression. Classes are offered on a monthly, biweekly and weekly basis online via video conference. Classes can be scheduled to suit your needs.
What do you need? Your own digital camera (or access to a scanner if your shoot film, preferably one with interchangeable lenses. Photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or Aperture is necessary as well. The most important item you will need is a passion about improving your photography. The more you put in, the more you’ll get out of these classes.
