Office, Barcelona 2009 I used to rarely shoot through windows, now I do it much more often… Dancing in Slovakia Keeping with our theme on Friday of rarely seen work I direct you to some of the images I took in Slovakia… Barcelona, October 2009 When I started this blog it was less with the idea of showing what I happened to be shooting that day or that week but to give people an opportunity to see the breadth of my images. Some people only know me for my work in Rwanda for example. Good Friday is a big deal around here and I had a chance to photograph a Catholic procession here in Barcelona. On Sunday I also went to a pentecostal church which you will see images from later in the week. Ladies [...] Political Debate Moderator On Sunday I attended a debate between the candidates running for mayor of Barcelona. It was in Catalan so I only got bits and pieces but there were a few interesting images to be had. I was doing yoga in the park on Tuesday and nearby there was a small demonstration in support of Catalan independence. The group was singing songs and chanting while we were going through our poses. Afterwards I stuck around and took a few images… Moonrise, Barcelona It’s a new dawn
It took me 1 year, 5 months and 10 days to return to Barcelona. But I have returned. “Haven’t you been saying that for a while now?” Doubters would ask when I [...] This is the start of a new chapter. I don’t know where it will end but I do know where it will [...] Ah life in the capital! If only it was all bread and roses… Live from Berlin! It feels good to be back in Berlin, despite the clouds and rain. I’m learning quite a bit about immigration and integration during this trip. I just booked me flight for sunny Barcelona so if nothing else I have that to look forward to. But I am enjoying myself, make no mistake!
It’s that time of year again! I’m off to Europe. First I take Berlin, then I am finally making my way to Barcelona. I’m moving into a new phase of The Europeans, one that will hopefully see me working even harder and moving more quickly. Time, as it always does, will tell.
