You’ve heard it before but much of what we do as photographers involves waiting. Waiting for an assignment; waiting for the check to come in from that assignment. Waiting for an event to start or waiting for inspiration to strike. Right now I’m waiting to hear back about a fellowship, some exhibition opportunities, a grant [...]  Is sometimes just a boy holding a duck… Sometimes we get so caught up in the moment we forget to look ahead. And sometimes we spend so much time looking forward we forget where we are in the moment. "I don't believe that." What this means is that in reality I can keep coming back to a subject or an idea, growing in my understanding and hopefully documenting it better.
