Two Exhibitions in NYC on Display

Several of my images are featured in ETHNOSCAPES at 461 West 126th street in New York and will be on view only until December 2nd, 2012. ETHNOSCAPES is an International group show investigating issues of (social) de-territorialization, migration, and hybrid identities. While I won’t be able to attend I hope that you can make it to the show!

Projected images from Newsfeed: Ghost in the Shell at Long Island University in Brooklyn

My work is featured in not one but two group shows in New York this season! The second show is currently on display at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus in their lovely glass walled Humanities Gallery located at 1 University Plaza at the corner of Dekalb & Flatbush Avenues in downtown Brooklyn. “Newsfeed: Ghost In the Shell”, which is on view through Jan. 4, 2013, explores the theme of interconnectivity through projected images and sound and is organized by MOCADA. In addition to the five projected images I have on display, which were taken in places as diverse as Rwanda, Spain and Kosovo, this exhibition features my first sound based work which is comprised of field audio collected in Pentecostal churches here in Spain. If you’re in the New York area please visit the show.
