Another year bites the dust. We can say goodbye to everything we wanted to leave behind and start making our grand plans for the new year. Many of you have some resolutions and I am among you. I’ve broken them into short term and long term goals, some of which I can accomplish quickly and others which are more lifestyle oriented.

Set up shop in Barcelona
This has been a goal of mine for some time but now I think I’ve got a practical plan to make it happen. If I’m going to finish work on The Europeans in a reasonable amount of time then I need a base in Europe. I’ve decided Barcelona is the town for me. Stay tuned…
Make Money
This doesn’t sound that exciting but in order to do what you want to do you need money, at least in our world. As much fun as my Candide-like existence has been up until now I need to be a bit more practical about funding my exploits.
Learn French, improve my German and Spanish
I should have taken French in High School but what’s done is done. THis year I want to learn at least enough French to get by and improve my so so German and my okay Spanish.
Be a better self promoter
Despite appearances I HATE tooting my own horn. I am shy by nature (yes, I really am) but you have to put yourself, and more importantly your work, out there. So this year I plan on doing more shouting from the rooftops as it were.
Exhibit more
I want to show my photos more so 2010 will represent an all out push to get my images up on the walls of as many places as I can.
Work harder
Despite appearances I actually do work pretty hard. This year I plan on being more organized and using my time more wisely. Less procrastination and more productivity!
Get fit
Shockingly as you get older things don’t hold up as well as they should. So I want to be more active and less sedentary. By the end of the year I want to be able to do 100 pushups!
Take more photos
This is an easy one but an important one. I love to shoot and just need to do more of it. Simple as that!
Have more fun
I need to get out more, take a vacation, do things which are not work oriented.
